UTRECHT - De Humanistische Alliantie in Utrecht heeft oud-FNV-voorzitter Lodewijk de Waal benoemd tot bestuursvoorzitter.
Hij combineert die functie met die van directeur bij Humanitas.

In de Humanistische Alliantie werken 46 organisaties samen, waaronder het Humanistisch Verbond, Humanitas en de Humanistische Omroep.
De Waal is de opvolger van Harry Kunneman, hoogleraar sociale en politieke theorie aan de Universiteit voor Humanistiek in Utrecht.
